One of Dan’s best friend’s from High School, Nathanael, is in the Army and is stationed a couple of hours outside of Seoul. This past weekend he came for a visit. We met up Friday after I got off work, and he stayed with me at my place till I went to work on Monday.
Nay and I had met once before, last December when I went to visit Dan in Oak Park over winter break. Ever since we found out that we would both be in Korea this year we have been e-mailing quite a bit. It was a lot of time to spend with one person, luckily Nay is a laid back, easy going type of guy. I enjoyed having a buddy to do stuff with this weekend. Still, I don’t think that I have ever spent so much time with someone that I don’t know that well.
There was sightseeing, bonding, and a hell of a lot of awkward pauses.

YAY for companionship!
Seriously, Awkward pauses are so much better then not haveing anyone to have them with, I am happy ya.
